Martin Luther King Jr. Question

Why does the author feel that whites owe King the greatest debt?
- The auther feels that whites owe king the greatest debt because he libered them from the burden of America's centuries-old hypocrisy about race.

Was King "the right man at the right time"?
-Yes because he was a preacher. this put him in touch with the spirit side of the black masses, and gave him a base inside the church.
- King was a man of extraordinary physical courage whose belief in nonviolence never swerved.
- he never gave up even after all of the death threats and bombing of his house.
Would King be upset with the current use of his most often quoted line? Why or why not?
- no because they were the stinging phrases of a prophet, a man demanding justice not just in the hereafter, but in the here and now.
- and it reminds people of what he did
